1.6. Significance of Anatomy for Therapy and Treatment
Although therapists work with energy which has no form, contrary to physical body, they must necessarily know the anatomy of the organism. As we will mostly treat human organism, as anatomy of the body is a great unknown to any beginner, and as we are not professionally tied to medicine, it is understandable that we must learn the basics of anatomy. But here fear is also unnecessary, as through the channelling of energy to the diseased organ, the energy finds itself its way to the diseased area, more accurately: area without energy.
A general presentation of human anatomy is sufficient for our initial needs. The knowledge of anatomy in the form given in an atlas of anatomy written for laics will satisfy us all up to the third level of therapeutic education: the extent of such an atlas should be adequate for the daily work of a therapist.
