7.2.7. The Skeletal System
The skeleton is the support system and scaffold of the body. A child has a cartilaginous and flexible skeleton, while that of an adult is bony and hard. Support to all parts of the organism is provided by 206 or 207 bones of the human skeleton, protecting sensitive organs like the heart, the lungs, the brain, the spine and the bone marrow against injury, and enabling the muscular system to move.
Bones are different and of irregular forms, adjusted to their respective purposes: limbs have long bones, expanded at their ends, the skull bones are flat, but mostly the bones are short and of different shapes. The contacts between the bones are also specifically formed: they are round, cylindrical, flat or combined; the bones also have bulges, protuberances and cavities.
Bones are made of cells and hard substance between them; the surface is covered by the periosteum with blood vessels and nerves. The cartilage enveloping the joint surfaces of the bones does not contain mineral substances, which makes it more flexible and softer.
The most frequent injury of the bones is fracture, which the classical medicine heals by aligning and replacing the broken parts to their original position, and supporting and setting them in hard plaster. A broken bone can grow together incorrectly, and therefore, we must heal the fracture with the mental technique and create an energy envelope or tube around the fracture. A broken area heals more quickly and does not cause pain if we influence the area with transformations. A protuberance emerges in the fractured area, resembling a welded spot in a metal structure and very sensitive to pressure: the energy level of this part must be examined every second day and maintained, if necessary.
Joint diseases limit the movement capacities of the body and cause great trouble to the patient. For instance, the accumulation of calcium or attrition of the cartilage in the joints can paralyse the organism. The influence of the sun and tiny sand on the sea shore can help greatly. Bury the joints in the sand and sunbathe for a few days, a week if necessary, and the result will be fantastic; the calcium gets extracted from the joints and they get healthy. We alleviate the pain and help the joints by creating energy cushions and placing them into the joints between the bones, and by doing the transformations according to Rule V.
The spine is composed of different vertebra of irregular forms, connected into a flexible chain by means of intervertebral discs. Pairs of nerves go through this chain. Any deformation of the vertebral column or an incorrect movement of any of the intervertebral discs results in pressure on the nerve, restricts the flexibility of the body and causes pain. With spine problems, healing by laying on of hand and by means of the mental technique of aligning the deformed vertebra gives good results after just a few therapies.
