10.2.1. Spells

Through human history and development, spells mostly involved the blocking of an individual function of a domestic animal. Thus, for instance, a cow was infertile, sheep did not have milk, a horse behaved unusually, and the like. Because of the direct influence of a spell by a person looking into another person’s eyes, or putting a spell on a horse by giving it a special look, the owners hang different objects around the eyes and necks of the horses to turn away the attention of the observer from its eyes and prevent the horse to be influenced through the eyes. Today, when the system of raising domestic animals is organised differently, spells have lost their purpose; however, they found another function by being transferred from animals to humans.

In practice we find that individual diseases or flaws are connected with the spell protocol. The influence of a spell is the most visible in the case of infertility, especially with women, however, serious cases are also found with men. Interestingly, it is much harder to remove a spell put on a woman than one put on a man.
