8.4. The Rules for the Maintenance of Health
The rules for the maintenance of a healthy life are hard to classify if we do not classify the health status of the patient first. Thus, virtually all patients can be classified into one of three groups, although it is difficult to set a clear boundary between the groups. We recommend them the following exercises for the energy and physical bodies.
First group:
those who are not yet under therapy, who are healthy, feel well and do not have problems and do not need medical treatment.
I. The energy body:
Do a white merkava on yourself and colour your body the colour of the day every morning.
II. The physical body:
The daily exercise should contain all the asana positions according to the Lamaist Fountain of Youth. If the patient needs more fitness, he should also do the Sun Salutation exercises. Standing on the head is recommended.
The second group:
those who do not feel well, are occasionally sick, have certain problems and feel that they do not have sufficient strength and energy, are apathetic and without creative ideas.
Before the beginning of therapy, such patients must be healed. These are cases when the disease has not yet left consequences in the organism: we use the first (energy) therapy and the second (physical) therapy. After we determine that the patient’s health is stable, we propose the maintenance of health in the same way as the first group.
I. The energy body:
Do a white merkava on yourself and colour your body the colour of the day every morning.
II. The physical body:
Do the exercises of the Lamaist Fountain of Youth and determine the number of repetitions according to your feeling or state of health. Also do the Sun Salutation daily, with the number of repetitions determined according to your feeling or the assessment of the therapist.
The third group:
ill patients whose organism is already visibly affected by the disease and who are healed for a certain disease and undergo medical or alternative therapies.
Therapists must be very careful with such patients: health maintenance must be proposed after they recover and after their organism is analysed and any consequences of the disease and side effects of medicines or other treatment are discovered.
On case-to-case basis, we propose the patients to regularly control in specific intervals their own energy and physical state.
I. The energy body:
Every day, the patient does a white merkava on the whole body and a blue merkava on the organ or system undergoing therapy. He colours the body the colour of the day and, if necessary, does a blue merkava on the part of the body that was gravely injured, like a wound caused by surgery or bone fracture and the like.
II. The physical body:
Likewise, on case-to-case basis, we propose exercises for the maintenance of fitness; it is good for the patient to daily do one repetition of each asana from the Lamaist Fountain of Youth. After the patient recovers, we propose he do the whole system of the Fountain of Youth exercises, and add the Sun Salutation programme. Finally, in this case it is also recommendable to do the headstand, with the legs leaning against the wall.
The entire programme for the maintenance of health and life without illness can be summarised into very short exercises and meditation performed every morning, so that they do not hinder us in our daily routine.
